Hi, I'm looking for information on Mary Phair, born in Fermanagh(I think Enniskillen) about 1811 to 1820.
The info my aunt left to me is that she married William Humphreys of Enniskillen born 1811 to 1816. They had 5 children. William left for Canada some time before 1855 and Mary and the 5 children were lost at sea on their voyage to join William.
William married again in Canada around 1855 to Ann Priestley.
My aunt passed away many years ago, but she left me a book of family history and this is all I have on Mary: "William was married twice. His first wife, Mary Phair and their 5 children were lost at sea. They were on their way to meet William in Canada."
I would like info on Mary and her 5 children, I don't even have their names.

You don't mention the religious denomination for the family but based on the Humphreys in the 1901 census, they were likely Church of Ireland or Methodist. The Church of Ireland records appear to start in the 1830s and the Methodist records in Enniskillen start in 1823. Below is a link to the C of I church web site.

There are a few 1821 census fragments for Co. Fermanagh and there was a 2 year old William Humphreys. Maybe this William is too young.
