Looking for my greatgrandfather john holland born about 1843 i think misspelt on census as Balincuagh ,married Liverpool 1863

to Isabella Connor John`s Father on Marriage cert. was Denis Holland. Any help would be appreciated.

    Assuming your Holland ancestors were RC, on July 8th, the National Library of ireland will be placing all RC parish registers online for free searching. Ballyclogh records go back to 1807 (see below). Ballyclogh is in the Diocese of Cloyne.

    A couple comments. First, there is going to be a tremendous demand for the registers starting on the 8th and I would not be surprised if there will be very slow response times for a few weeks. Second, the registers are organized by Diocese which is why I mentioned Cloyne. Third, the registers may be hard to read particularly in the first half of the 1800s. Handwriting was often illegible. Sometimes entries were in Latin. Good luck!
