I am researching my mother's family from Killasser Co Mayo.  I have found a baptism certificate for my mother, Catherine O'Malley 3rd January 1918.  I am having difficulty finding her brothers & sisters, also the marraige of her father Patrick O'Malley and hsi date & plkace of death and her mother, Honoria King again no record of her date & place of death.  I should also like to locate their cemetery details.

I have the marriage record of my grandparents in Killasser and some of my mum's brothers birth certificates.  I can find nothing about them in Meath where i know the Irish Government moved them to.

Apart for obtaining the death certificate of my mum's brother, Edward O'Malley who died in St Loman's Mental Hospital in Mullingar, I have found out nothing about the family at all.

  • Gerri,

My Grandfather (b. 1887) is from Cloonainra. One of his Nieces Rose Hennigan married a Michael O'Malley. I am from Chicago and we have a large O'Malley Family here who are from Mayo also.

  • Connected to the O'Malley family of Westport Ireland.....Catherine married John Kenny ..... son William who married Jane Hamilton came to Ontario Canada circa 1825 with 13 children .....all most likely were baptized in the Catholic church in Westport.  Would love a connection to the O'Malley family .... vrhlowe@gmail.com
