Ireland Reaching Out is a non-profit programme that enables local communities to reach out and engage with their Diaspora all over the world.
In June, we were delighted to welcome an RTE film crew to join us for a day to learn more about how Ireland Reaching Out is making a real difference to local communities and the Diaspora that they are welcoming home.
This video was aired on July 25th, during the popular Saturday night programme Winning Streak, and visits to the Ireland XO website went up by 1000% in the hours after! We are delighted that this message has reached so many interested communities around Ireland and we welcome the opportunity to develop the Ireland XO programme in your Parish.
Ireland Reaching Out is supported by the Department of Foreign Affairs & Trade and receives funding from the National Lottery via the Heritage Council.
If you are interested in being involved in the Ireland Reaching Out programme and would like to know more about the things that you can do to make a difference in your community please go to our Volunteer's page to find out more.
We hope you have found the information we have shared helpful. While you are here, we have a small favour to ask. Ireland Reaching Out is a non-profit organisation that relies on public funding and donations to ensure a completely free family history advisory service to anyone of Irish heritage who needs help connecting with their Irish place of origin. If you would like to support our mission, please click on the donate button and make a contribution. Any amount, big or small, is appreciated and makes a difference.
