in the house 10 dovea lower the family trant lived and hung their portraits in the house concerned
there were three portraits
1665 sir patrick trant portraiture painting displayed in the house during 1800s possibly a sir peter lelly composition 1600s
1714 monarch charles restored the title to sir david trant when in rome had a portraiture painting commissioned and displayed it in the house during 1700s 1800s
1790 david trant died was said to remember sir patrick trant
1815 nicholas trant pennisular war wellington officer lady longford biography states the king of portugual knighted him sir nicholas trant
1815 circa a pencil drawing of dominick trant of dovea taken from observations of the late procedures in the parliament of ireland on the quest for a regency for that kingdom by dominick trant during the pennisular wars hung in the house 1800s
1943 the house was sold
so if anyone can advise me where i might discover where these paintings are presently i will inform the person who is researching this family

It maynot list the painting but maybe they are in another collection in the NLI???
