I'm looking for living descendants and / or information regarding my ancestor Daniel McMullen. He was born circa 1725 in Antrim, Ireland. I have had some information pointing to Ballymoney area. He came to the United States in 1772. If anyone recognizes this guy as their ancestor, I would love to hear from you.

Unfortunately, given the early year of birth it may be difficult to find records over here as the reality of finding documentation pertaining to births/baptisms/marriages/deaths in Ireland prior to 1800 ? particularly in rural areas ? is that they simply may not exist. As you can see on the IRish Times website, Catholic records in Ballymoney do not start until the middle of the 19th century:
Church of Ireland records generally tend to have an earlier start date as this was the official church of the country at the time. Most surviving Church of Ireland records are still held by the local clergy, although some are in the National Archives of Ireland and others are in the Representative Church Body Library in Dublin.
