I recently heard that there is a Dinsmore Bridge (in ruins, I'm told) on Vow Road. Can anyone give me information on that? I will be in Ballymoney on 25 to 29 June and would love to see it. Thank you.

Dinsmore Bridge is on the Vow Rd, where Cross townland meets Eden. It crosses a burn (minor river) that used to power a couple of flax mills in the area. The road is still very much in use so a bridge must be there. (Unlikely to be the original structure though).

Finally an old Ordnance Map of Northern Ireland that shows Dinsmores Bridge. I took a photo of the map when I had the pleasure of exploring the fields for the Dinsmore Bridge with Peter McAlister, Sr. of Ballymoney, Antrim in June, 2015. Mr. McAlister is a fine and distinguished gentleman.
