Hi
I am wondering if anyone can give me any information on a Patrick O'Connor DOB 1811 Newcastle, Limerick County or a Margaret Kennedy DOB 1815 Adare, Limerick County. These are my great, great, greatparents on my fathers's side of the family. They would have immgrated to Australia in 1838ish from what I can gather with the birthdates/places of their children.
I am Australian though would love to know more about my heritage.

Records for Adare did not begin until 1832 so this is too late for Margaret. You could have a look on rootsireland.ie or family search anyway on the off-chance she was baptised in a neighbouring parish where records begin earlier. Newcastle records being in 1815 so you may be lucky with Patrick. There is a 'Patrick Connors' listed for Newcastle West in 1817 but there is no way to know for sure if this is your Patrick. Unfortunately it might be an information gathering exercise until you can ascertain,perhaps through sponsors' names on a baptism, if you have the right one.
