Hi,    I am trying to trace the Marriage of Ann Ballantine and Thomas Brown:  They married sometime around the late 1850s or early 1860s before migrating to England. After their arrival in England they settled in Manchester,Lancashire and we have collected all of the relevant details of their Children, Grandchildren, Great grandchildren etc;  etc;  and quite happy to share:  Any information about either or, especially both would be gratefully received,  Many Thanks.      Don Brown.

    Welcome to Ireland Reaching Out!

I had a look on rootsireland.ie but couldn't see a marriage record for any Ballantine-Brown combination between 1820 and 1870. So this means that (1) they married in a parish prior to the existence to church records, (2) the records is missing/destroyed/wasn't entered on the register OR (3) they married in the UK.

Are you fairly sure they married here?
