Looking for any information on MORRISON and IRWIN ancestors that oral history tells us came from the area near Riverstown, Cuiltylough, Drumcolumb, etc........ Robert Morrison and Jane Irwin (both born abt 1798) who immigrated to Canada in the early 1830's, most likely 1833. Children Hugh, Ann, Arthur,Sarah - born in Ireland and Robert C, Richard Ausitn, and William L all born in Canada. Eventaully settle in Arthur Township, Wellington County, Ontario, Canada. Any information about this area/family would be appreciated!

I checked on Roots Ireland and did not find any baptismal records for children of Robert Morrison. However, if your ancestors were Church of Ireland then those records are not on Roots and possibly they are no longer available. Many C of I records were lost in the 1922 fire at the Four Courts building in Dublin. http://www.irish-genealogy-toolkit.com/irish-records-burned.html
The current Church of Ireland network in Co. Sligo consists of three churches. It looks like they charge 30 euros for a search of their records.
