John and Bridget (Maher) Doyle and their descendants

Hi:  I have been fortunate to find some property records for John Doyle and his family, but I am not sure what to do with it, and what my next steps should be.

John and his wife Bridget Maher had:  Bridget 1838; Mary 1839; Edward 1841; Peter 1842; James 1847; and Patrick 1849 (information from St. Brigid’s Clonegal records).  Peter came to Canada in 1870 (my great-grandfather). 

John Doyle is listed in the Tithe Aplottment books in Leany, Clonegal.  John is also in Griffiths (#14a), at what I believe is the same property.  The cancellation books show Mary Doyle 1860-1877 (the second daughter?); Bridget 1877-1901 (eldest daughter? Someone else?); James 1901-1934 (fifth child? Someone else?); then Michael Doyle 1934-1958 (son of James?)  .  In 1958 it went to John Cummings. 

I looked in the 1901 and 1911 census returns but cannot find Leany – is it called something else?

I have also looked at death records, but there are so many choices, I’m not sure where to go with that.
