Hello, All. I am a Canadian woman whose great-grandmother, Jane Ann Harrison, was born in County Cavan in 1860. Her parents were Anne Lawrence and Thomas Harrison. She emigrated to Australia in 1885 and died there in 1922, having married a man named Pistorius. I cannot seem to get anywhere on Ancestry.ca, in terms of finding the Harrisons and the Lawrences. Any suggestions?

What looks likely to be the marriage is a Marriage registered in Cavan town 1859 volume 3, page 534. Thomas Harrison and Anne Schoales Laurence are both on that page. Likely they married each other. If you get a copy of that marriage certificate it will give you information to take your research further.
