Good Morning,
Thank you for any help in shedding light on my great grandparents birth certificate. (attached). I would like to know if the church still exists and what is the name of their residence in Skull. Thank you so much, Barbara

Barbara:
Welcome to Ireland Reaching Out!
I think the parish is St, Marys. http://www.corkandross.org/parishes.jsp?parishID=56
I believe the Millar family lived in Knock townland in Schull civil parish. The Wilkinsons were Church of Ireland (if I have the correct family) and were living in Cloyne in 1901.
Let me know if you have questions.

Hello,
The church is indeed in Schull, but is not St. Mary's, as this is the Roman Catholic one. It is the Holy Trinity Church on Colla Roard. There is a nice link here to it. The Rector, George Berford Fairbrother, referenced in the marriage cert, was appointed there in 1909, a year before their marriage, having served beforehand in Desertserges parish.
Regards
Jerry
