I don't think we will be able to further assist the considerable info you have on your family. Records back to the 17th century are very scarce. I did find this posting from 2002. Possibly, this is your post?

Thanks so much for your reply.  I can appreciate the scarcity of documents; I was just hoping there might be something.  At least you saved me posting a similar request for my Cullins ancestors, also of Cork. 

Also, thanks for the link to the 2002 information.  It wasn't mine, but it has some information that might be helpful.

I will keep searching, but all of my Irish ancestors emmigrated before 1750, so I wonder what records might realistically be available.

I have been researching the Driskell/Driscoll/ODriscoll Family here in US and Ireland for more than 15 years.  My father, James L Driskell, is part of the Driscoll DNA project.  I have never been able to find any written documentation on any of Denis Driskell’s ancestors although feel very strongly that his fathers name was William.  Also, don’t believe his wife was Hannah Holden.  His daughter, Hannah, married John Holder, they are the grandparents of the Colonel Holder that helped Daniel Boone rescue his daughter, Jemima, from the Indians.  I have a group page on Facebook for the Driskell’s and also hold a gathering of the ODriscoll USA clan each year.  If you’d like info please email me atodrisceoilgirl@gmail.com.  Would love to talk to you about your research.

I realize these posts are from a few years back but I just stumbled across them.

I am of the O'Driscoll line here in the States. 

I believe the Florence O'Driscoll mentioned intially was born in 1600 and died in 1673. It appears that he (wife unknown), his son William O'Driscoll (1640-1721) married to Evelyn Mae Gallagher (although one account seems she may have been married to Florence instead) b. 1640 d. unk, and grandson Dennis O'Driscoll (1660-1721) married in 1680 in Kinsale to Hannah Holden (1660-1734) came to America together from Kinsale between 1680-1689. I saw this as Moses James Driskell, Sr. was born in Somerset in 1689.

Moses James Driskell/Duskey Jr (1729-1823) married Katherine Elgate. His brother (forget his name now) has descendents on ancestry who I share DNA with.

Moses Jr had Joshua Drishell/Duskey (1768-1860) married Margaret Sheppard and produced Sheppard Duskey/Driskell(1816-1865). He married Leah Gravenor. They had Elisha Gould (Goldsborough) Duskey (1854-1897). He married Mary Emily Powell, they had two infants who died as toddlers and two daughters who lived longer. One was Gardice and the other was my Great Grandmother Mary Emma Duskey.

I have just uploaded my DNA to GEDmatch.com and joined the Beara project but I believe my connections with them are from my maternal grandmother's side. The O'Driscoll's are from my paternal grandmother's side.

I would love to be part of the Driscoll DNA project and am happy to privately share my DNA kit from GEDmatch. You can also find my public tree (all looped together) on Ancestry too.

I will reach out to you by email in the next week or so if I don't hear back on this page.

Hello David, 

I am curious if you have found more beyond Florence Fineen Driskell. 

Upon using FamilySearch, I discovered that my ancestors trace directly back to Florence Driskell and it would be awesome to trace back the linneage further, however impossible it may be, haha.
