Edward Daley born abt 1790 County Cavan and died 17 October 1847 in Kingscourt and Enniskeen. Was tenant farmer in Collops. His address at burial sys Tory Bush in Parish of Kingscourt. Only know about one son to date - Owen born abt 1816-1818 and transported to Australia in September 1839 for life. Would really like to find the family back in Ireland - mother and siblings, descendants. Realize the records are very limited in Ireland, but hoping a descendant may appear out of the woodwork!
Grateful for any input. Blessings - Dianne

Welcome to Ireland Reaching Out!
The records for Enniskeen/Kingscourt (as you likely know) do not start until 1838 so you won't find any records for siblings to Owen.
Have you considered autosomal DNA testing?

Diane,
I am a descendant also from Australia. I was wondering if you ever found any more information? I am currently on holiday in Ireland and was wondering if it was worthwhile going to the area. Let me know if you have any more info as I would love to find more.

Hi, Just saw your post of 19/6/17 Carmel. Are you still in Ireland? Back in July 2016 a Catholic Priest encountered a woman on the road who said her father bought the Daly house from Ellen Daly in 1931 and that there were no Daly's there now. He did not get her name unfortunately! This was in Tory Bush in Collops in the Meath diocese, half-way between Bailieborough and Meath.
If you want to email me on threecords777@gmail.com we may be able to converse a little more easily and thoroughly.
