I am descended from Thomas Hanna b. 1838 who we believe is son of Robert Hanna. He married Mary Anne Cranston. They came to New York. The story was that they later lived in Tyrone but in a Killeyman Parish town of Derrylee that was actually just over the border in Armagh. Their children were born in Coalisland. Has anyone in your family done DNA testing at ancestry.com? I have and am there to be matched.
We think Robert also had a son William b. 1830 and a daughter Eliza b. 1841. I think they lived at times in both counties.

There’s a marriage for Thomas Hanna and Mary Cranston registered in Dungannon on 31.3.1865. If you view that cert it should confirm their father’s names as well as tell you where they were living in 1865.
Possible children to that marriage :
Sarah 9.1.1865
Robert 3.4.1867
Mary 10.1.1870.
All registered in Dungannon. You can view the original certificates on-line on the GRONI website, using the “search registrations” option:
You will need to open an account and buy some credits. It costs £2.50 (sterling) to a view a certificate.
