I have Reilly's that were baptised in Kingscourt in my family. They lived in the townland of Edenagully. Charles "White Charlie" Reilly married Mary Sheridan. Their children were John (1847), Charles (1850), Ellen (1853), Catherine (1845) married to Patrick Clarke and Philip (1840) my GGrandfather. Their nickname was "the Culbans"
Does anything sound familiar to anyone?

Hi,
I'm Maureen and am a decendant from the "Culban's" as well. Charles and Mary (Sheridan) had the following children:
John Reilly (b. 11 May 1847) I don't know anything else

Ellen Reilly (b. Apr 1853) don't know anything else
Phillip Reilly (baptised 5 Aug 1840 - died 1 oct 1920)
Catherine (b July 1845) married Patrick Clarke and had the following children: Charles Clarke, James Clarke, Patt Clarke & andrew Clarke.
Phillip married Anne Gargan 1884. they had the following children
Charles; Mary; Patrice; Katherine; Thomas; Bridget; Thomas; Mary "Mae"; Phillip; Ellen; James; Annie
I have a bit of information on all the decendants of Phillip. If you contact me; I will be happy to share what I have. I am very familiar with the US connections.

Hi,
I've just came across this post now. I am married to Patrick Reilly and we live in his family homestead in Edenagully.
I understand this house and farm have been in the Reilly family for many many years and would love to research our history more.

Hello Mrs Reilly,
I'm not sure if I'm the same Reilly's as your husband. The only Patrick in my family from Edenagully was a young fella that died from chickenpox (1888-1891). Their nickname was Culban's or the Ban's which means white in Irish. I know there was another Reilly family that was living close by known as the Pike's.
Here are my relations:
Charlie Reilly (unknown), Phillip Reilly (1840-1920), Ellen Reilly (1898).
Not sure if this is of any help.
Regards, Marian
