Searching for Francis Sheridan, belonged to Castle Crom 1st Infantry and came to Canada with letter of reference from his superior. Father/brother could be Henry. Possily related to Fee and Graham. Possibly had relatives around Belturbet, Cavan. Lived in Corry Townland, Kinawley, County Fermanagh. Left for Canada around 1818-1822 and settled in Emily Township near Omemee then in Markham. Any info at all much appreciated!!

  • William Graham m. Ann Sheridan in Kinawley pre 1832. Their grandson John James m. a Mary Anne Sheridan c. 1903. Suggests a long family connection between Sheridan and Graham. Grahams also m. Fee in Kinawley. They had cross border connections to Co Cavan.

There are several Sheridans in the Kinawley records pre 1803 - but no Francis. Check Fermanagh Gold site for Kinawley records transcribed by Ruth Gregson.
