Catherine O'Dwyer/Dwyer, 10th child of Patrick O'Dwyer and Johanna Ryan, was baptized April 1, 1836, Pallasgreen. It is believed that she married Michael Purcell. The only Michael Purcell I have found was baptized Oct 2, 1837, Castle Farm, Hospital and a possible death in 1905, Limerick. Parents: Michael Purcell & Margaret ____?
Research to date has not found a marriage for this couple in the townlands in and around Pallasgreen or any children. I have been able to research all of Patrick & Johanna's children from 1811 to 1836, including spouses & children, with the exception of Catherine's marriage.
Thank you

Greetings from Fitchburg, Massachusetts, USA,
I have a Joanna Purcell as a godparent of Julia Rahilly (my grandfather's sister). It appears in Sologhead RC parish on August 12, 1861. The Rahilly's resided in the Newtown, Templebredon. At this point I don't know anything about Joanna or what her connection was with Julia's parents - Patrick Rahilly/Mary Sugrue (my great grandparents).

Kevnin, did I know you had Purcells from the Solohead area? We have Purcells from Emly just down the road from Oola in Solohead. Marilyn, I have a Pallasgraen McGrath/Dwyer cousin who will be writing to you.

creal....that's wonderful! To add to my first post regarding Purcell's, I found that Michael Purcell and Margaret Morony/Malony also had a daughter Biddy Purcell in 1836 and James Purcell in 1840. In 1841 a John Purcel & Ally Magrath had a son James.
I look forward to hearing from your Magrath/McGrath cousin, thank you.
Kevin, I'm sorry, but to date I don't have any Rahilly (Real) in the families I am researching, nor a Joanna Purcell, although while searching in the Townland "Hospital" on http://registers.nli.ie/ there were many Real baptisms and marriages.

It has been a month today and I still have not heard from your McGrath/Dwyer cousin from Pallasgreen whom you said would be writing to me. I still hope they will make a connection, thanks
