Thanks for the welcome, and for the information! I can't confirm names or dates, as this is where I had hit my brick wall. It seems about right, though, as they would have been in their early twenties. And their oldest child was born in June of 1871. This gives me some promising new material!

Do you have recommendations on sites for finding Irish vital records that I should be using? I'd love to dig into these records more thoroughly.

There are subscription sites like Find My Past which will give you an index record. Your best bet is to go to www.irishgenealogy.ie  They recently released images of civil records for free access. Births are available from 1864., marriages 1882 and deaths 1891. They plan to add the earlier death and marriage records back to 1864.

I forgot you were researching in Antrim.

PRONI (Public Recors Office for Northern Ireland  https://www.nidirect.gov.uk/proni  also provides civil records for a fee (two pounds each?). If you have 1845-1881 marriages or 1864-1890 deaths, PRONI is another option if you don't want to wait for www.irishgenealogy.ie
