Hello!
I am seeking information on a section of my family that came from the Convoy area. I am curious, if anyone lives around that area today posts here, or reads this, are there any Warrells or Worrells left in the area? I know the ancestors I had from the area left around 1825, but I know at the time, there were some that stayed. Any info would be greatly appreciated!

There were a couple John Warrell records in Convoy parish in the 1857 Griffiths Valuation.
There were no Worrell/Warrell records in Donegal in the 1911 census. The online phone book also shows no records for the two names in Donegal.

You are from Roscommon? I have lineage there too, going further back. They were from Athlone. Are you familiar with the area?

Actually I live in Maryland in the USA although my grandmother came from Ballaghaderreen which is northwest of Athlone.
