Looking to connect with exteneded family members from the Ardfield - Rathbarry parish, my partial lineage is:
Thomas Regan (B. 1827, Kilkerin, Cork), son of Thomas and Catherine nee Spillane Regan.
Catherine Feen (B. 1832, Cork), wife of said Thomas Regan.
Mary Ann Regan (B. 1855 , Kilkerin, Cork), daughter of Thomas and Catherie nee Feen Regan.
Patrick Cullinane (Cullnan) (B. 1850, Dunoure, Cork), son of Michael and Elizabeth nee Leonard Cullnan.
Patrick Cullinane and Mary Ann Regan married in 1875 in Newton, Massachusetts, USA, they had (8) children, three where born in Ireland, five in Boston, Massachusetts, USA.
Sadly, Mary Ann (my great-great grandmother) died at the young age of 38 years in 1899, leaving Patrick to raise their eight children. Patrick remarried in 1896 to Hannah Kelly (B. 1873, Ireland) where they continued to live in Boston until his death in 1924.
My wish is to one day vist the ancestoral lands; to walk upon the paths, to view the horizons and to breath the air. I would love to connect with extended family to share research / knowlege of our family.
Sincerley, Cherie

Welcome to Ireland Reaching Out!
I wanted to clarify one point in your message. You indicated that Patrick Cullinane and Mary Ann Regan married in Newton, Massachusetts but then you indicated that three of their children were born in Ireland?
www.irishgenealogy.ie has the church records for the Diocese of Cork and Ross including Ardfield/Rathbarry. I located the 1850 marriage for Thomas and Catherine.I would check the site and look for other baptismal records.
Area - CORK & ROSS (RC) , Parish/Church/Congregation - ARDFIELD & RATHBARRY
Marriage of THOMSON REGAN of N/R and CATHARINAM FEEN of N/R on 25 January 1855
Here is a link to the present parish.

Hi Roger,
Thank you for your quick response and greetings. I have a copy of Thomas and Catherine (Feen) Regan's marriage from 1855, it was a great moment when I found it !
Patrick and Mary Ann (Regan) Cullinane appear to have travelled back to and stayed in Ireland between 1877 - 1881, I have two of the three baptismal records which where found on the website irishgenealogy.ie.
My hope is to visit Ireland one day and with any luck, meet exteneded family!
Thank you for the parish link, I'll check it out.
Warm Regards,
Cherie

** Correction to the first post (3 Dec 2016): Mary Ann Regan Cullinane died in 1894, not 1899.
