James O'Neill (c1834) of Kilkishen married Bridget Hardgrove (c1846-1872)then Bridget McGrath (1846-1917)

Thank you for your query to Ireland Reaching Out.  The Clare Library has the transcribed parish registers (baptisms and marriages) for Clonlea (O'Callaghan's Mills and Kilkishen) online.  You can access them here:

There are a number of O'Neill family baptisms there and you might be able to make connections.  I will also contact someone in Kilkishen who has local knowledge about the O'Neills.  Bridget McGrath was from Clonlohan townland as listed in the marriage register in 1873.

I have been looking at the parish registers on ancestry.com.au but will look at the Clare Libraries transcriptions as well.

That's quite exciting that u r aware of someone who has local Kilkishen knowledge of the O'Neills. Might be some stories there.

So Bridget McGrath was from Clonlohan. I thought it read 'Clonlara'.That's helpful to clarify.
