Hello, I've found a marriage record for my g-g-grandparents, Patrick Tobin & Ann Murphy, in Innishannon in February 1844. My next step now is to find their birth/baptismal records - can anyone suggest where I might find these? My grandmother always thought Patrick and Ann came from Kilbritten.

The parishes in that area of Cork are part of the Diocese of Cork and Ross and records for that diocese are available for free on www.irishgenealogy.ie I did a quick check and I don't think they were baptized in Kilbrittain. Also, without knowing the parents names in advance, it will be difficult to confirm any records located. Please feel search the site and maybe you will have more success. You may also want to check Bandon which is between Innishannon and Kilbrittain. Below are links to the parish registers for the three parishes.
Let me know if you have any questions.
