  Searching for Michael Dowd , B: 29 Sept 1808 W. Meath/ . Married abt 1834 to Anne Larkin. Children Patrick B:5 June 1835 possibly in Tubber, Offaly, Ire. also Mary B: 28 July 1839.  Michael's sister Bridget Married Thomas Nolan. Daughter Mary was born 22 Dec 1837 W. Meath. Michael left Ireland in May of 1843 with the Tyson family.

I would appreciate any help in finding this family. I do thank you all for any help and will cover any cost for copies and postage.

    You posted in the Dowdstown Co. Meath parish page. Do you have any connection to that parish or is Tubber Westmeath the parish? 

    I located the 1835 and 1839 records in Tubber. The parish spans both Co. Westmeath and Co. Offaly. I can't tell whether the Dowds lived on the Westmeath side or the Offaly side.

    I was unable to locate the 1837 record for Mary Nolan.
