Our next concert takes place on Monday 27th March in the Station House Theatre, Clifden, starting at 8pm. This will feature Emmanuelle Bertrand on cello and Pascal Amoyel, piano. It is said that 'Together they make eloquent magic'. This duo have performed together for many years and bring a real passion to everything they play.
The programme will feature a wonderful mix of works from the 19th and 20th centuries.
They will play works by:
Gabriel Faure - Apres un Reve op7. no 1. and elegie S. 130.
Camille Saint-Saens - Second Sonata, op 123 in f major.
Kevin Volans - For Bob.
Franz Liszt - First elegie S 130.
Johannes Brahms - Cello sonata no1 in E minor, op 38.
