I recently recieved a scrap book that mentioned my 2nd great grandmother, Anna Quinn born 1841, was from Killoe. Her parents were Daniel Quinn and Elizabeth Davis. Anna left Ireland in about 1860 and married Patrick Baldwin (of Kilmoremoy parish, County Waterford) in Albany NY on 8 Sep 1862. Susan Quinn and Patrick Quinn were witnesses - I assume they were siblings / cousins.
in the Killoe Parish records, I found these baptisms for children of Daniel Quinn and Elizabeth Davis, so I assume they are siblgns of Anna.
Elizabeth Quinn bap 17-Aug-1835 in Killoe Parish, Longford, Roman Catholic sp George MacCann & Brigid MacGoughy
Eleanor Quinn bap 26-May-1847 to Daniel Quinn and Elizebeth Davis in Killoe Parish, Longford, sp John Fitzpatrick & Bridgit Quinn
A Daniel Quinn lived in Killeter, Killoe, Longford on Griffiths Valuation
A Daniel Quinn lived in Kiltycreevagh, Killoe, Longford on Griffiths Valuation
I am not sure if either of these are related"
- Daniel Quin died age 72 on Oct 1865 in Kelleter, Killoe, Longford
- A Elizabeth Quin died age 65 on 3 July 1874 in Kilinashee, Killoe, Longford
I'd love to be able to find more about Daniel Quinn and Elizabeth Davis, but I am a bit stuck. If the births of Elizabeth and Eleanor Quinn are correct - I assume there are other children to find, but I haven't seen them in the register.
Any help would be appreciated.

Hi John!
We have a parish liaison in Killoe so I will e-mail her about your message.
I went on Find My Past and looked at all the 60+ Quinn baptismal records that FMP had from 1836-1846 in Killoe and could not find any other siblings.
Roots Ireland has Killoe death/burial records from 1826-1901. I did a search for Dan Quinn in Killoe and got no record.

I have put these together from various sources
Daniel Quinn lived in Killeter, Killoe, Longford on Griffiths Valuation in 1855
- Daniel Quin died age 72 on Oct 1865, born 1793 in Kelleter, Killoe, Longford [1]
Daniel Quinn lived in Kiltycreevagh, Killoe, Longford on Griffiths Valuation in 1855
I figure one of the Daniel's have to be mine.
I also looked on Griffiths Valuation to see if there were Davis families living near by in Killoe:
- Peter Davis - Cornafunshin, Killoe
- William Davis - Derawley, Killoe
- Peter Davis - Gaigue, Killoe
Hopefully some local knowledge will help.

I sent Jane an e-mail asking her to followup. This is one of my big frustrations. I refer a lot of messages to various PLs and maybe half respond. Jane is working on adding more PLs and dropping PLs who are no longer willing to work with the project.
