Seeking ancestr-al family.
Elizabeth Lynch arrived in NY in 1850 --husband unknown. Parish & county unknown They had 3 Children: Aurella (died young), Emma and Elizabeth J. Elizabeth J married Patrick Holden. Patrick arrived in 1872, I think from Callen, Kilkenny --they had 10 children, 5 who lived to adulthood, 1 who died as a teen, 4 died as toddlers or infants. Edward (died), Elizabeth T (to James Godsill), Joseph, James, Francis (died as a teen), Edward (lived) and Loretta, and 3 other infants.
My maternal grandmother, Geraldine Elizabeth Godsill married Clyde Pruett (from several generations of Irish in Alabama & the Carolinas).
On my father's side is the McNeil(l) family -- immigrating Ireland to Nova Scotia/Quebec in the late 1700-early 1800s, then to the US midwest (Wisconsin) in the mid 1800s. There were a LOT of Canadian Scot McNeils from the same region of Canada, and in the same part of Wisc., but a few Irish, with the same spelling and the same family names: Peter, Anna, Margaret (or Anna Margaret) and Mayme or Mamie. The records are often attached to the wrong family trees, and DNA testing may be the only way to sort it all out -- but I'm looking for an Irish connection because the Scottish line is just too watered down to fit within the right historical lineage.

That is great that you have tested your DNA and have uploaded it to gedmatch where you are likely to avail of the widest group of matches.
Do you have any more information about Elizabeth Lynch who arrived into the US in 1850? Her date of death, where she is buried, a death certificate? Any further information would be a great help and you can start from there to try to determine a possible county or even a parish.
As to your DNA matches, there is a lot that you can do with gedmatch to try to narrow them down. If you have other relatives (known) who have taken the test, that will further assist your search.
