Hi, I'm looking for any information on William Bride, son of Henry Nelson Bride and Ellen Bride (nee Bourke) I have him on the shipping list to Australia on the Young America in 1858. He was born in 1852.
thanks in advance

Roman CatholicNo luck on irishgenealogy, Irish Census 1821 - 51 or Tithe Applotments.
Griffiths Valuation (free at askaboutireland.ie/) has 79 Brides in Cork in 1852 including 3 Henrys in Castlemanger.

Hi Col, thanks very much. No wonder it's so difficult to trace people. Very few records back then and they spelled the names however they felt like it at the time. Anyway thanks again...I will perservere. I have been to Ireland 3 times now...I think I'll be going again.
regards
Jeremy
