Welcome to Ireland Reaching Out!
Sorry for the late response. I was going back thru the older April messages and saw you did not get a reply.
I looked at the baptismal records on Roots Ireland for Co.Limerick for a Michael McNamara with parents Thomas and Mary. I searched from 1835-1845 and the only record that came up was the one below.

Roger, thank you very much for the search and findings of a possible birth record for my great-grandfather, Michael McNamara. This is very encouraging information and I'm grateful to you for finding it! I'm wondering if Michael's father, Thomas McNamara, would be listed in the 1858 Griffiths as a farmer in the Limerick/Askeaton/Ballysheen area? I know Michael emigrated to New York sometime before 1867.
