Daltons of Liscarrol (Edmond Dalton)

Hi

This may be going a bit too far back but I'm hopeful I can find something out. My Great Great Great Grandfather Edmond Dalton who was born around 1824 (date given on death listing). I first pick him and his wife up Elizabeth Leahy (Bess) when they marry in 1857 in Liscarrol.  They go on to have 5 children that I know of, Edward, Henry, Mary, Patrick and James, address is always given as Mallow road, Liscarroll (sometimes Buttevant is mentioned) although I'm assuming this is the Church address possibly. Henry is my Great Great Grandfather who later moved to Galway and had my Great Grandfather who came over to West Yorkshire.

Edmond is my brick wall, I can't seem to find anything before the marriage at all and the marriage entry hasn't given me much to go on. Any help/clues would be most appreciated although I'm aware this man may remain a bit of a mystery.
