The family I am interested in is James and Mary Sinnott, of Castlemacadam, and their children (all christened at Castlemacadam Church of Ireland):
Francis Sinnott chr 1 jan 1811, Edward Sinnott chr 4 oct 1813, Joseph Sinnott chr 16 dec 1816, and Esther chr 15 feb 1820. There is also likely to be another brother James born about 1810, "of Cronebane" who married Martha White in Rathdrum CoI in 1827 (who also emigrated to England). I believe the Sinnotts lived in places like Kilmacoo, Cronebane, and Tigroney (mining areas).
I have the baptism records of all except James, but would like to know more about the parents James and Mary, and if they had other children or other relatives in the area. I know there were other Sinnotts living in the area but not sure at this point how or if they connect.
I know that Joseph converted to Roman Catholic before he emigrated to England in about 1847 (and have his marriage and details of four children born in Ireland). I also know that Edward also emigrated. I'd like to know if any of the family or any other siblings remained in Co Wicklow, or where they might have emigrated, and whether any of the others also converted to RC.
