Mary O'Donnell-Rathkeale

There are at least four Mary O'Donnell/Donnell/McDonnell baptismal records around 1864 in Rathkeale. Do you have her parents names and do you know who she married? Also, I did not find a Terence O'Donnell (or variant) in the parish.

Hi Roger, 

Thank you for info. I think her parents names were: Cornelius o donnell and Bridget Liston who were both from Limerick. I found info on their marriage from another ancestor.com member, who writes that they were married February 8, 1853 in knockaderry parish, Limerick. Mary O'Donnell married john keating who was from Limerick also. I'm not sure if they married in Ireland or US.

Is it possible she was Margaret O'Donnell or Margaret Mary? There are nine baptismal records on Roots Ireland for parents Cornelius and mother with surname Liston: Cornelius 1855 Terence 1856 John 1858 Bridget 1860 ( died young?) James 1862 Margaret 1865 Catherine 1865 (died young?) Catherine 1867 Bridget 1869

Hello, sorry I cannot connect with the last post but it made me think about my family again in Rathkeale.

I have my 2x gr father William Higgins b. Abt 1831 - 37  Rathkeale. 

Father William Higgins.  

They were Cathoilcs. 

I would appreciate any help in finding a birth for William and possibly a marriage for father William.

Another question, would a resident of Rathkeale be able to forward me a contact for the local RC church in Rathkeale. 

Someone there who would be kind enough to search the records for me perhaps?

     hello! thank you for info on Mary O Donnell. I guess her name could of been Margaret Mary, on all US census it mentions her name as Mary only and my mother was very young when she paaesd on. Her brother Terrence records is how I found Thier parents names. So Im assuming it is her. Thank you for your research.
