William Lambert, 17 Apr 1758, Dublin, Ireland Died 1807. His father Lewis Jones Lambert,  Dublin Ireland died 1871. His father AAran Lambert Died in 1747. His father Patrick Lambert (or Lamporte) died in 1707. I have Names and dates but the location of where they lived is sketchy. I have a family history of the Lambert or De Lamporte of Wexford that goes from before the 1500 to the late 1800..It talks of castles and long lists of decendents. I would like to know exactly where they come from.  I would be happy to share it if anyone is interested or could help me deciper it. I live in Texas, USA.

  • Hello,

     

    My Lambert family came from Wexford county as well.  There was also mention that we may have descended from Milo De Lamporte of Strongbow's Invasion.  I have some names of relatives from that area and saw that you have done a great deal of research.  One name in particular is of a priest named Patrick Lambert who later became a Bishop in St. John's Newfoundland.  I'm curious as to what you have.

    I think we share the same relatives. I have a Lambert Notebook that includes Names and Dates. It is quite long and I have not scanned it yet. I will not forget you, and as soon as I can scan it, I will share it with you.
