I'm a decendant of John Fahy (Jr & Sr) looking for information on John Sr, Matilda and their ancestors. John Sr and Matilda were married in Loughrea on 25 November 1811.
John Jr was born 10 May 1814 and christened 31 May 1814.
Denis was born 16 Nov 1811 and christened 25 Nov 1811.
Denis emigrated to America in 1840. John would follow him two years later in 1842. Both settled in Ohio. John Jr. married a woman named Johana Powers, believed to be a sister of a Thomas Powers. Both were from Ireland but I do know where. I do not know if John Jr and Johana were married before or after they emigrated to the U.S.

Reread my original post and realized I made a typing mistake. I do not know where Johana and Thomas Powers where in Ireland they were originally from.
