The townland of Clare in Murroe and Boher

Does anybody know where the Townland of Clare was? I have found several records that have my ancestors  being baptized in  Clare in the Parish of Murroe and Boher. I cannot find it in the list of Townlands or in Griifths valuation .  I know there is The Clare River on the County Limerick/ Tipp border and also Clare Glen in the same area. The baptismal record comes  from the 1860's.  Also one of my ancestors got out of prison and the place he was going back to was Clare County Limerick. Thanks for any help.  Joe Carey Syracuse NY
