My great-great grandparents James Kenneally and Johanna Dorney were married in Kilworth parish in 12 Feb 1846 as found in the Irish Catholic Registry ..... BUT I am finding alot of DNA matches via Ancestry to folks who have great grandparents John Kenneally and Mary Dorney who also got married in Kilworth parish 20 Jan 1849. I have not been able to find the connection between these two Kenneally's OR these two Dorney's - any insight would be helpful!

Hi Tricia,
It was quite usual for 2 siblings of one family to marry 2 siblings from another family. Perhaps James and John were brothers / Cousins and Johannna and Mary were Sisters / Cousins.
This would account for the closeness of the DNA relationship!
