Hi Emer, I can see this post was made a good few years ago. 
 

I am a Craven, born in Manchester, my grandfather was John Thomas Creaven, born 1934 in Ballygaddy Road Tuam, his father was Thomas Creaven, possibly the same one you mention born in 1899.
