I am looking for information re: the birth and christening of my grandfather, Thomas Joseph Halpin. I have found this information thus far: https://www.familysearch.org/tree/person/details/L5L4-SQV and believe I have traced his lineage to Christopher Halpin https://www.familysearch.org/tree/person/details/LRJ1-Y3K who was buried in Fore.
I have received invaluable information from members on RootsChat including headstone information. http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php?topic=213431.0
My great grandfather Patrick Halpin was buried with his son in Saint Feichin's Cemetery - the attached monument was erected by his loving wife and children and his brother Rev. William Algona, confirming the second voyage in 1910.
Any assistance with my grandfather's documentation or family history beyond Christopher would be greatly appreciated.

Welcome to Ireland Reaching Out!
I did some searching on Roots Ireland (subscription site) and the free site www.irishgenealogy.ie I found the parents (Patrick and Bridget) marriage record in 1869 in the Collinstown RC church in Westmeath.Collinstown is the RC parish to the southeast of Castlepollard. The civil marriage record is not online now but should be in the near future and it will show where Patrick and Bridget lived and the names of their fathers. I also found three civil birth records for the three older daughters Anne, Bridget and Mary (see below) and the family was living in Moretown townland in St. Feighins civil parish. I could not find any othe records (church or civil) for any other children including Thomas. Not sure why I can't locate the records.
Besides the civil birth records, I located the 1901 and 1911 censuses followed by Patrick and Bridget's civil death records. I also located a death record for a small child Patrick Halpin born to Mary Halpin

Roger,
Thank you for your reply.
I am not yet able to spend a lot of time on research, but appreciate every bit of help I receive.
I hope to communicate more in the future.
