I am trying to locate any information for Christopher Augusta GAGEN born circa 1824 in County Meath. The surname spelling is what he used in the USA. We think he married Mary BROGAN before leaving Ireland. I have been researching my relative for over 50 years with no luck. Any help would be highly appreciated. Thanks!

The subscription site Roots Ireland has an 1829 Christopher Gaegen baptismal record in Co. Meath. You would need other evidence to determine whether this is the correct record.. Also, about fifteen RC parishes in Meath do not have records back to the 1820s. I did not locate a marriage record to Mary Brogan.
