I have found that my great, great grandfather Patrick Maye, married Bridget Duffy. I cannot find a marriage record for them. I have found baptismal records for their 4 children, James born 1861, Luke 1862, Bridget 1866 and John, my great grandfather born, 1869. (St Attracta's, Kilmacteigue, Co. Sligo) so I would expect the marriage to be before 1861. They lived in Tullinaglug in a tenanted cottage. John and Luke went to Lancashire around 1890. Patrick seemingly died when John was still at school. Bridget lived into old age. Apparently either James or Bridget emigrated to America. There is a lot of Mayes in the records for this parish - does anyone recognise this branch? Or maybe they married in a different parish? Other names, listed as sponsors at baptisms are; James Harte, Atty Maye; Patrick Kennedy, Atty Duffy; Patrick Flynn, Catherina Walsh; Luke Duffy, Anna Duffy.
Thank you for any help you can offer

I am also looking for Maye family, my gg grandfather was Martin Maye according to his Marriage certificate his father's name was John.
Family have suggested he was born in Quarry field.
