i am looking for descendants of Thomas Quinn and Esther (Kane) from Leixlip, Co. Kildare
My grandfather JOHN QUINN was born in 1891. He migrated to Australia around 1912
Siblings were Albertina born 1887, Marcella 1888, Maria 1893, Thomas 1894, James1897
Esther died 1899
Thomas and Esther Anne Kane were Marr at Roman Catholic Chapel, Balyna.Esther was from Castletown. Her father was John Kane a farmer.
The 1901 has Mary as wife
1911 has Thomas as widower living at Kenmare Parade, Inn’s Quay, Dublin with Albertina, Marcella, Maria, Thomas and James. My grandfather John is not included.
John married my grandmother Bridget (Carroll) in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia in 1917. First born child John, born and died 1918. They had three daughters Monica, Kathleen (my mother) and Marcy.
I would be very interested to hear from any relatives, who may give some insight into the Quinn family, especially John, who I never met.
