Hi. Looking to correspond with descendants of James Harrison and Mary Cooney and also Michael Cunningham and Elizabeth Harrison. Both James and Elizabeth are possible siblings of my great-great-grandfather Francis Harrison (who married Margaret Murphy). I have baptism records of their children, 1844 through 1861, from St. Finbarr’s Cork City. Surname was spelled Harrisson in these records. Children of Francis and Margaret were baptized at St. Mary’s, Cork City. Any information would be appreciated. Thank you. Kevin Harrison

Hi Kevin, I am looking at older queries and you can see the church records for Cork here https://www.irishgenealogy.ie/en/ click on church and sign in it is free, civil records from 1864 are here also, deaths to 1973 and marriages to 1947 etc
The area is changed and unlikely anyone is living in the same place, probably still in Cork, you could try some of the private genealogy Facebook groups dealing with Cork or even Cork city, also local radio and the Evening Echo newspaper might print a letter.
The population of Cork is now estimated to be about 250,000, when I moved there in 1966 it was 110,000 so a lot of change.
Good Luck
