Thomas Dorrity Farmer Father of Sarah Dorrity married James Short Police Constable 1879.
Possibe connection Catherine Dorrity died May 1862 Married Francis Mecklem Died Dianmore July 1826.

The surname "Dorrity" sounds like a variant of Doherty and you might note this in your research.
Unfortunately, the parish of Currin doesn't have Catholic parish registers available online through the Roots Ireland (a subscription website). However, there are 2 registers listed under the National Library of Ireland parish registers site and the link is below:

In addition, you may also find the Irish Genealogy website useful as it has the Civil registration records online. The Civil Registration only began in 1864.
