Using the site Margot listed www.irishgenealogy.ie the only Joseph Huggard baptismal record was in 1809 in the C of I church in Kilcolman parish Co. Kerry. Possibly your Joseph was baptized in another parish that either no longer has records back to 1817 or they are held locally or at the RCB library in Dublin. Can you provide any other info on Joseph and his family?

Thank you all for your replies, after further research and reviewing the 1851 New Brunswick, Canada census - it turns out Joseph was my great grandmothers brother and her fathers name was James. According to the census records he was 44 at the time of the 1851 census and I am assuming it was his birthday in 1807 that I originally posted.

www.irishgenealogy.ie has Church of Ireland and RC records for James Huggard in the early part of the 1800s. If he was Church of Ireland this is the closest record to 1817 or 1807 (you show borth years)

See if attached jpg fills in some of the blanks. I've been looking for some documentation that covers the Huggards of New Brunswick but have been coming up empty handed
