The Youghal App will be officially launched on Friday 19 October at the Red Store at 150/151 North Main Street in Youghal from 3 pm - 4 pm. All are welcome. Minister of State for Equality, Integration and Immigration, David Stanton will speak along with others in the local community.
The Youghal Celebrates History group has been actively involved in promoting various history projects. They have the School registers for the CBS school in Youghal transcribed, they also have a Famine Trail which shows the Relief schemes in the town, the Quaker soup kitchen site, workhouse sites and other places of interest associated with the Famine times.
