The Davis Family Killoran

You did not mention the religious denomination of the family but RC baptismal records for Killoran parish start in 1878. Church of Ireland baptismal records for Killoran parish start around 1882.

I checked the subscription site Roots Ireland and did not see the 1827 marriage.

No , Roger , also the family were Presbyterians I believe. They were probably descended from the early settlers from Scotland.

I am not sure what the nearest Presbyterian church would be to Killoran. However the Presbyterian Historical Society have records of nearly all Presbyterian churches in Ireland. You might want to e-mail them to see what churches are in the area, and what records exist. They may have a copy. (In my experience, they are unlikely to be on-line anywhere).

Back on the hunt again...I think my davis family are descended from Cromwells English soldiers?/63,000 acres of land were handed over to Cromwells soldiers

        How do i go about tracing this possibility...

This item confirms that over 63,000 acres were given to a group of soldiers by Cromwell in 1655.  They were evidently the chief landlords. They will have sublet and perhaps your Davis family were such tenants. Not sure there will be any records of them though.
