Hello I'm hunting for anything on my 3rd grandfather John Hogan (b.1808) who married in early 1827 at County Cork Ireland a Johanna Roach Barry (b.1788) He was 18 and she almost 20 years his senior at 38. She had a 10 year old boy (John Barry) that she left in the care of her mother and her brother Patrick Roach in Ireland. They went to America a few short weeks later and Patrick Hogan was born in Ft. Anne, New York on 1st March 1828.
Patrick Roach and his wife Anne sailed to America with John Barry 10 years later, 8 April 1837 leaving Queensland and landing in Quebec some 52 days later. (Another biography said the trip took nearly six months do to severe storms!)
John was a Catholic.

I searched on two sites which have Co. Cork RC church records. the free site www.irishgenealogy.ie and the subscription site Roots Ireland and did not locate the marriage record for John Hogan ans Johanna Roche Barry. Likely the church where the marriage occurred no longer has records back to 1827.

I have done the DNA through Ancestry and it links me to dozens of my cousins in the USA but it does not show any connections to the homeland. I have been wondering about that?? Does Ancestry.com have a presence over there?

Yes, people in Ireland have taken the Ancestry DNA test as well as testing with other companies.I have tested with Ancestry and Family Tree DNA and have matches with people in Ireland.
Ancestry about a month ago updated their ethnicity data and provided more granular data on where you have ancestors in Ireland. For example, my wife has Munster province followed by North Munster and East Cork and Waterford.
You can also update your Ancestry data to a volunteer site called Gedmatch Genesis genesis.gedmatch.com You then will have matches with people who tested with other companies and also loaded their data to Gedmatch Genesis.
