Looking for edward Brook(e)s, probably in Ryelands, Raymoghy. Born about 1802. There are Brookes in late 1700s there, but no sign of Edward or any siblings around that time. Possible father is John. Thanks!

Hello I am looking at old queries and RC records only commence in 1843 for the parish in Donegal and C of I appear to have been lost in the civil war here in 1922, there is a list here https://www.ireland.anglican.org/cmsfiles/pdf/AboutUs/library/registers…
Any mention appears to start only in 1803, I got no Brooke returns in Donegal 1802 plus or minus 10 years.
There are 9 Brooke families or entries circa 1830 in Donegal in this church tax record https://titheapplotmentbooks.nationalarchives.ie/search/tab/index.jsp
A few Thomas Brooke people and this may be the same person with land in different areas, proves they were in Donegal.

Hi Pat
Thanks very much for your reply. I believe my Brooks were Presbyterian.
The Tithe Applotment records in National Archives have quite a few errors - people in the wrong county etc. When I search in Ancestry there is an Widow Brooks in Ryelands, Raymoghy.
Best wishes
Anne
