The map shows Ballyclough / Ballyclogh as west of Cork City. It is actually about five miles west of Mallow. How can this be corrected? Thanks.

Which map are you looking at ?
The best source for Irish townlands is the historic OSI or the placename database on Logainm. Other online maps like Google get confused by placenames that are used more than once (quite common for townlands, parishes etc.)
There are at least three different townlands named Ballyclogh in Co. Cork, plus a civil parish also called Ballyclogh - see the placename database, the Ballyclogh in the civil parish of Ballyclogh is just west of the town of Mallow.
EDIT : I think I see the map you are referring to - the Ballyclogh parish page on this website IrelandXO. I'll pass on the details of the error
